Support for Exhibitors in France

France will support Exhibitors in the coming year with a total of €100 million !
The France destination recovery plan includes a support system to support the event industry up to €100 million!
Three measures are planned:
✔ Assistance with the arrival and return of new exhibitors (up to €96 million)
✔Help for the return of international buyers (for 4 M€)
✔ Loans from savings funds with Banque des Territoires.
The system, managed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France, targets 71 French fairs and shows organized from March 2022 to June 2023, which had more than 500 exhibitors before the crisis.
This will be a subsidy granted to exhibiting SMEs, equal to 50% of exhibition space rental expenses (up to €12,500/beneficiary and €1.35 million/event)

The much awaited in-person edition of the IMCAS World Congress 2022 is in the light of the current COVID-19 situation, where it is difficult to welcome participants from all over the world, and in respect for the speakers, exhibiting companies and worldwide attendees, postponed to June.
For our client this means that we stopped the production of their exhibition stands and that we have to see how this will work out as for some Korean clients the IMCAS Asia show is only a week after Paris. But we hope to build all 5 stands showcased above in June.

From zero to stand in 7 days

On the 13th of October we where approached if we could build a stand for TFWA and seven days later we needed to start building. We excepted the challenge and provided Lafferty & Sons a 14m2 bespoke stand on TFWA 2021
Lafferty & Sons contacted us on the 13th in the afternoon with the story that they just heard that they would get a spot on TFWA and that they where desperately looking for stand builder who could provide them with some walls and hopefully some graphics as the build up would start in 7 days. We did hesitate but as it was a 14m2 stand, our reply was to ask if they had a design they used for other trade shows so we could see how close we can get to realising proper stand. They send us some renderings of a different stand and we made design close to these renderings including custom showcases, graphics on all walls, a bespoke reception desk and a large storage. As it was a problem for Lafferty & sons to provide the graphic files on time we agreed that they send us the logo files so our designer could create the graphics needed.
The next challenge was to get everything printed on time, get the wood in to build the walls, the custom showcases etc. But with our local connections we got this problem tackled as well. The fiurniture was no problem as we have a large stock of furniture. Than we had hire more people as we already had another stand of 30m2 on TFWA and limited time to build with 2 stands. Getting permission to build was easy as we know all the requirements from the Palais de festival and with all paperwork taken care of by our expo manager we could start with the build on the 20th and we could deliver the stand on the day before the show. After assisting Lafferty & Sons to get all their bottles and supplies to stand, nothing stood in their way for a successful TFWA and plans are already made for a better and bigger stand next year!

Quint Essential Brands Group at TFWA Cannes

This year at TFWA in Cannes we have built a 30sqm stand for Quint Essential Brands Group.
This very open stand design featured large seating/meeting areas with custom tables, large light boxes to grab attention and a bespoke cabinet to showcase all their bottles. Also a large storage area for all stock and to hide the structural column on the back of the stand.
To soften this very manly stand we provided some extra flowers on the tables ;-) and with the light laminate flooring and the bright orange chairs we softened the black wood look.
